France: Impressions of Normandie Part 2

It took a while, but now Don's photos are on my laptop and I can upload them. I dithered for a bit trying to decide what to do since the post on Normandie was published without his photos last Thursday. I finally decided to do an extra post of just his impressions of Normandie which are really excellent - too good to miss! From here forward, his photos will be mixed in with mine in the coming weeks of blog posts about France.

Below is our hotel in Dieppe and you can see all the ridiculous car traffic/parking chaos.

There are so many monuments and memorials.

The Beach as it looks now, blood long ago washed away but not forgotten

Then on to Juno Beach for the D-Day Landing tributes and another Canadian War Cemetery at Bény-sur-Mer
